PEPE GARCÍA UTRILLA
Pepe García Utrilla has devoted more than twenty-five years of his professional career to Private Banking at Banco Santander, where he has hold different positions of responsibility. He has combined his financial activity with the leadership of national and international trade union associations and organizations, in order to promote and develop equal opportunities for the people.
He studied Law at the Autonomous University (Madrid) and in the 90’s, Invest and Finance Advice. He is a member of the European Association of Real State Agents and he is also qualified in Mediation by the Spanish Association of Mediation. He has participated in different courses both as instructor and student: Business Administration and Management, Labour Relations and Collective Bargaining, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Resources Management and Leadership, European Works Councils, Finance Advice, Conciliation as a tool for Equality, Problems of the Professionals and Managers in Europe, European Social Dialogue, among others.
His concern and sensitivity in searching for balance in the labour relations, collective negotiation and human resources managing, as well as mediation, arbitration and conciliation, have made him deserve several positions of responsibility at National and International Social Organizations. For example, Vice-president of UNI Europe Finance at UNI Global Union; member of the Executive Committee at EUROCADRES, Secretary- General at Middle Managers Association, and Responsible of International Relations at the Service Federation of CCOO (before COMFIA).
Immerse in a continuous learning process, he is at present Founder and Director of CONZIERTA, consultancy specialized in International Labour Mediation, where he develops his passion for prevention and managing of conflict and negotiation inside organizations, in order to bring social peace to these institutions.

Consulting an expert in international labour mediation in order to prevent and/or solve work conflicts is a not common method but more and more necessary nowadays
At CONZIERTA, we understand mediation, Spanish and international business arbitration and resolution of corporate conflicts as the transformation process of the relations among parties that will result in agreements capable of settle the interest gap. The final target is to foster long-term, fluid and fair relations that help manage reputation and diversity in each of the countries where the multinational is based, building a preventive work in the managing of the work force. Moreover, if the conflict has already arisen, we manage and conduct it to a negotiated solution.
Based in Madrid, our company is composed by the founder partner and a team of specialists and collaborators established in most of the countries of the American continent.

CONZIERTA has been created with the following objectives:
- Bringing social peace to organizations, providing negotiated solutions among workers and/or their legal representatives and the Direction. Nowadays, mediation processes are the best alternative to trials and the deadlock of any inter-party relations.
- Being capable of understanding the issues present in each of the countries where the multinational is based, in virtue of one decade experience of coexistence with the international social agents. Several cultures coexist inside multinational companies, with different ways of doing and understanding the environment as the result of the diversity of people working in its bosom.
- Adapting to all kind of situations and to any organization, despite the field of activity. CONZIERTA works with a flexible methodology as well as with a tailor-made process for every conflict, from a business and a human relations point of view.
- Providing corporate health to the organizations.
Our challenge consists in reaching agreements and to maintain them in the long term, with a social and business perspective, helping finding solutions that fulfil the parties’ expectations, that is, win-win system.
